Mushrooms are listed in the plant food group, and amongst the various species, are the Porcini, which are the most know between the comestible ones.
It is possible to consume them freshly picked for example in a salad, alternatively it is possible to dry them and consume them at need, and above all, the part discarded after drying can be reduced in a mushroom powder.
Mushroom mostly grow in humid a woody environment’s: after long sunny days and a sudden shower, the harvest is normally abundant.
Mushrooms are packed with many important nutritional properties, and they’re a precious supply of these for our organism.
- They have a very high protein content, in specific proteins that contain essential amino acids such as tryptophan, a precursor of serotonin which balances the state of sleep, body temperature and appetite.
- Antioxidant properties such as selenium that helps eliminate the free radicals.
- Vitamin B
In the kitchen they are great as flavoring for soups, pot roasts and first dishes.
There are many different varieties… all of which are delicious. But if we need to strengthen the flavor of a saffron risotto with mushrooms what could we add? Obviously, the porcini mushroom flavour of FLAVOURLAND which is composed with all the molecules that make up the porcini that we collect in the woods; why should these be bad for your health and those picked no?? Be careful because if you pick the wrong mushroom you could risk your life; but by using our flavour, the error cannot exist!
We have written here, for the umpteenth time, that the flavouring does not “replace” a product but “implements” it and keeps the flavour constant.
Our company produces the following mushroom flavourings:
